On October 25 from 7pm to 9pm, The Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington will present The Art of Beer: Of Flying Dogs and Unrepentant Rogues. This event will be held at the Iron Horse Tap Room.
Ever wondered how the art on the beer label makes it there? Well, come learn how Flying Dog and Rogue Brewery do it, and then enjoy six of their delicious beers.
Speakers include:
Penny Muire, Owner/Designer of Medusa Design, who creates labeling and packaging artwork for Rogue Brewery
Adam McGinnis, Creative Director of Flying Dog, who has worked with acclaimed illustrator Ralph Steadman to create Flying Dog’s aesthetic
In addition to hearing the speakers talk about designing beer labels, enjoy free food and other giveaways. Doors open at 6; networking/mingling from 6–7; program from 7–9.
This event is $25.00 for ADCMW members and $35 for non-members.
