Who doesn’t love Oktoberfests? Although it’s almost the end of this year’s Oktoberfest season, Redwood Restaurant and Bar presents one last blow-out celebration of beer, brats, and lederhosen. This one shouldn’t be missed, because some proceeds from it will go to a great cause.
On Saturday, October 22nd from 1pm until 8pm (NOTE: taps close at 7:00pm), Redwood’s Oktoberfest will take over Bethesda Lane. The event will bring together local restaurants, vendors, and fifteen different breweries. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Enjoy a fall afternoon, strolling the lane and sampling beers from breweries like like New Belgium, Flying Dog, Widmer, and many more.
To accompany the delicious beer, Redwood and other local restaurants will be offering a variety of food choices, including bratwursts with sauerkraut served on soft-pretzel buns.
There will be live music from local performers like Taylor Carson and The Funky Miracle. This Oktoberfest will also feature fair games (ring toss, anyone?) Vendors up and down Bethesda Lane will offer their own Oktoberfest activities. Have kids who can’t participate in all the craft beer goodness? Check out the kids corner, compliments of Kidville (only in MoCo, folks).
Admission is $32, which includes ten tickets for purchasing beer and food, a commemorative mug, and a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Need more tickets? You can purchase additional tickets in bundles of five, ten and twenty.
Give those Oktoberfests and German foods one last shot on Saturday the 22nd and benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
