Second Southern Tier Dinner at Courthouse Fire Works on 10/26

The good folks over at Fire Works Pizza in Arlington are it at again. They want to introduce you to some ales you’ve never met before and they want you to spend some time with some ales you might have overlooked. They’ll be doing that this month with beer dinners featuring the fantastic ales of Southern Tier Brewing Company out of the Empire State.

With the popularity of Southern Tier’s beers, the first dinner scheduled for October 25th sold out the day it was posted. In order to meet the demand, Beverage Manager Mike Berry has added another dinner, Southern Tier Beer Dinner Part. II, on Wednesday October 26th. The event will start at 7 PM and with only 36 seats available these tickets will go quickly. With the killer cuisine of Chef Frank Mayo the pairings will please the pickiest pumpkin partisan.

Tickets for the dinner are $75, which includes 6 beers, 5 courses and gratuity. Call 703-527-8700 or email: courthouse@fireworkspizza.com to reserve your tickets.

The beer lineup is as follows (like all good things in craft beer it is subject to change):

Phin & Matts 5.7% ABV, American Pale Ale

Harvest Ale, Autumn Seasonal, 6.7% ABV, Extra Special Bitter

Hoppe, (pronounced ‘hop’) 8.5% ABV, Imperial Extra Pale Ale

Unearthly 9.5% ABV, Imperial India Pale Ale

Pumking 8.6% ABV, Imperial Pumpkin Ale

Oat 10.8% ABV, Imperial Oatmeal Stout

If you can’t make the dinner on 10/26 or tickets sell out, pop into Fire Works this month or next for a pint night:
