Jack Rose and Flying Dog Co-Host Pumpkin Beer Event That Would Make a Gourd Blush

If you’ve been anywhere near any kind of place that distributes beer lately, you’ve no doubt noticed that the pumpkin beers have arrived and they’ve done so en masse.  Sometimes the pure quantity of these gourd-ous beers is simply overwhelming, but don’t worry. Jack Rose Dining Saloon and Flying Dog have a solution.

On Tuesday, October 4, starting at 5pm, Jack Rose will be premiering Flying Dog’s The Fear Imperial Pumpkin Ale in an evening they’re calling The Night of the Living Gourd.  In addition to The Fear, they’ll be offering 15 other pumpkin beers so that you can really round out your pumpkin experience.

As if that wasn’t enough, they’ll be serving $5 pints of cask-conditioned The Fear from an actual pumpkin…real ale from a real pumpkin.  If you really want to take your Halloween experience to the next level, dress up in your best beer-themed costume as there will most certainly be prizes.
