Last year, the Neighborhood Farm Initiative held a homebrew teach-in and tasting contest to support local gardening and small scale organic food production for DC-area residents.
NFI will be holding the same event this year on Sunday, October 23 at American Ice Company.
An email about the contest reads, “We welcome fun and creative entries from beginners to brew-masters alike for this informal contest. It’s free to enter.”
