Got a growler? Got a thirst for local craft beer? Got a desire to have your grower filled with local craft beer while you sit out a potentially potent (if you believe the hype) hurricane named Irene? Well, boy (or girl!), does DC Brau have some good news for you.

This Saturday, August 27, DC Brau will offer you two opportunities to get your growler filled.

Opportunity the first: head on up to the brewery (3178-B Bladensburg Road NE) to get your growler filled with any of Brau’s brews (Public Pale, Corruption IPA, Citizen Belgian Pale, and Penn Quarter Porter, all subject to availability)! But wait, there’s more! This Saturday at the brewery you can also get a taste of El Hefe Speaks. This is DC Brau’s new collaboration with John Solomon and Chris Frashier (see our post earlier today). Not sure yet if growler fills of this beer will be available yet.

In addition to all of the fun beeriness at the brewery, Red Apron Butchery will also be on-hand with some hand-crafted charcuterie for purchase and consumption.

Can’t make it up to the brewery? You’re in luck, because from 6-9pm at D’Vines, DC Brau CEO Brandon Skall will be on-hand filling growlers of Penn Quarter Porter.

So brave the elements (safely! safely! our lawyers say you need to do it safely if you do it at all!) and be sure to enjoy some local craft beer from DC Brau.
