DCBeer.com is teaming up with the Iron Horse Tap Room to host a tweet-up for the #dcbrews community, this Wednesday, July 20, starting around 5:30pm. We haven’t hosted one of these in a while, but they’ve always been a good time in the past. If you’re on Twitter and follow the #dcbrews hash tag, you know that our local craft beer community has all kinds of characters who are interesting, compelling, funny, and knowledgeable all in 140 characters. Well, just think about how great all of those people will be when they haven’t got a character limit!
Seriously though, it’s been a long time since we got together with our readers and tweeps. The Iron Horse has graciously agreed to host us in their downstairs bar. Even better, they’ll be putting some interesting beers on special specifically for tweet-up attendees. We’ll announce the beer list as soon as we get it finalized, but we’re excited; the Iron Horse cellar is definitely going to be dug into for this event.
On top of the great beers and people, mug club memberships will also be available to tweet-up attendees for $25, which is a 50% discount off of the normal cost. This is an awesome deal. You just haven’t lived until you’ve had a $4 21 oz. craft beer.
