Georgetown’s Social Safeway Hosts Free Summer Beer Tasting

The Social Safeway in Georgetown (1855 Wisconsin Avenue NW) will host a free summer beer tasting this Wednesday, July 13 from 6:30-8pm. The tasting will feature beers from Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, and Flying Dog. Truth be told, these beers aren’t all “summer beers,” though many of them are quite light and will taste great at your next backyard barbecue. This is more of a “beer tasting in the summer.”

In any event, the tasting is totally free, which is always a plus.

The beers featured at the event will include:

Sierra Nevada
Pale Ale
Torpedo Extra IPA
Summerfest

Flying Dog
Old Scratch Amber Lager
Raging Bitch Belgian-style IPA
Doggie Style Pale Ale

Sam Adams
Summer Ale
Latitude 48 IPA
Double Bock

Please RSVP by Tuesday, July 12th to georgetownsafeway@gmail.com if you’d like to attend so that they know how much beer to have on-hand!
