Yesterday we posted about this weekend’s NOVA Summer Brewfest, which will host 57 breweries and a whole host of bands. If you were concerned about how you were going to get down there this weekend, On Tap Magazine has you covered, for Saturday at least.
On Saturday, June 25, On Tap Magazine will host a bus tour to and from the Brewfest. This all-inclusive trip includes a kick-off party, round-trip transportation, festival ticket, and commemorative Brewfest Glass for $35.
For just $1 (see below), you get your first four sampling tickets; additional tickets are just $1 and most beers require 1 to 2 tickets.
The bus leaves from: Union Jacks – 4238 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA; 703-778-3568; www.unionjacksballston.com, which is on the Ballston Metro (Orange Line).
No tickets will be sent to you. You will be given a wristband and your festival ticket when you register at our send-off party at Union Jacks. Details will be emailed to you and you will receive a confirmation email when you order your tickets. You can order tickets from On Tap’s website. Please note all sales are final. All participants must be at least 21 years old and have valid ID. All rules regarding consumption of alcohol will be strictly enforced.
Due to VA state law, you will need to pay a $1 tasting fee on arrival directly to the festival. This will provide you with four sample tickets; additional tastings may be purchased throughout the day.
So although you will have to pay for most of your brews, you won’t have to worry about the hassle of driving to the Brewfest. Remember, this is Saturday only, not for Sunday. Have a good time and be safe!
