Well, we have made it through half of SAVOR Beer Week, but we still have plenty of events left. In fact, there are at least thirty more events through Sunday so it’s not too late to start.  Here is what’s on deck for tonight.

Short’s Tap Takeover at ChurchKey

Short’s Brewing is taking over twenty-five tap lines at ChurchKey starting at 4PM. Short’s is arguably THE most experimental brewing company in the world.  Take a look at some of these crazy styles available at tonight’s event.

Key Lime (Experimental Ale brewed w/ limes, marshmallow, graham cracker, and milk sugar)

Black Licorice Lager (Black Lager w/ vanilla bean, anise, and chocolate mint)

Sponsorship

Bloody Beer (a Golden Ale made w/ Roma tomatoes, peppercorns, dill, and horseradish)

Carrot Cake (Experimental ale made w/ carrots, walnuts, pecans, spices, and yes it does smell and taste like a piece of carrot cake)

There is no admission fee for this event and the fun starts at 4PM. This event will be followed up by a Flying Dog Brewer’s Symposium Reception. Don’t miss this opportunity to try some Devil’s Backbone and several Flying Dog one-offs.

Lupulin Reunulin at RFD

The return of the Lupulin Reunulin is back and this year hosted at RFD in Chinatown. This is always an awesome event and gives beer fans a great opportunity to drink some great beers and interact directly with craft beer celebrities.  Starts at 7PM and is ticketed event.
