Brewery Ommegang is certainly going to make its rounds during SAVOR Beer Week DC next week. One of the stops on their magical culinary and ale tour is at Columbia Heights’ Meridian Pint, which has a full slate of events next week, including a match-up between homebrewers and a New Holland Tap Takeover!

In addition to Three Philosophers on draft, Meridian Pint acquired one case of each of the following Three Philosophers vintages: 04′, 05′, 06′, and will be offering these three vintages as a vertical tasting for an additional cost.

On top of all this great food and beer (as if it wasn’t enough), every dinner ticket purchased includes a raffle ticket for two VIP tickets to Ommegang’s “Belgium Comes to Cooperstown” Beer Festival. Tickets are $190 and sold out in 90 seconds this year. Here is a brief overview of what they include:
VIP tickets include a seat at Friday’s beer dinner, a movie on Friday night, free camping, a complimentary VIP Breakfast Saturday morning, a special 750mL of fine Belgian beer, and admission to the Saturday tasting and activities. VIP ticket-holders will be admitted to the beer tasting at 2:30 pm (half an hour earlier than general admission ticket-holders).
