Well, it’s upon us. SAVOR BEER WEEK DC will sink its delicious craft beer talons into our fair metropolitan area next week from May 30 to June 5. With its arrival comes a bevy of craft beer industry fans and professionals and a veritable ton of special beers, beer tastings, beer dinners, glassware giveaways, meet-and-greets, and all other manner of craft beer craziness that you can imagine.
The link above in this post (and in the banner at the top of our site) will take you to the official webpage for SAVOR Beer Week DC, which has a lot of events on it. DCBeer.com has also painstakingly gathered events from as many sources as possible and aggregated them on our event page, which you can find here. One look at our DC Beer Events calendar should make it clear that there are way more events than we could possibly write posts for in a month and more than you could read in two months.
So, with all that said, here’s how things are going to run here next week. Every morning we’ll post a round-up of the night’s events. It’ll include everything that’s going on (that we know about) in the city and Northern Virginia. Throughout the day, we’ll also be putting up some more of our SAVOR Brewery Profiles in preparation for the main event next Friday and Saturday. Additionally, we’ll be doing some posts on individual events as time/our sanity permit!
We strongly encourage that you take a look through our SAVOR Beer Week DC events page to look ahead at events that are coming up later in the week (some of which you may need to purchase tickets or make reservations for).
