DC Brau “No Taxation Without Fermentation” w/ DCBeer.com at Smith Commons 7pm-10pm – DCBeer.com and DC Brau, the first local – and we mean local – production brewery to operate in the city in more than 60+ years, come together to tell the story of how it all happened. DC Brau’s Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock share the story of why it took so long, the ups, the downs, and the lovely, malty, sudsy, hoppy story of it all. Selected DC Brau beer cans will be marked so you can win some great prizes, including two tickets to this year’s SAVOR! Brewed to be Wild at Victoria Gastro Pub – Jolly Pumpkin, Monk’s Café, The Bruery, Allagash, New Belgium, Ommegang, and Goose Island will all be on tap tonight. We’re not sure of the specific beers, but from the name of the event and the breweries on-hand, put your funk shoes on! Get over there and get down with your funky self (and similarly funky beers).
