Unable to make ChurchKey’s Firestone Walker launch party? Well, lucky you. One of Adams Morgan’s favorite craft beer bars is helping the venerable California brewery get its start on Tuesday, April 5, from 7-10pm.
The party kicks off in The Black Squirrel’s new downstairs bar, with 32 new taps. On Tuesday, four Firestone Walker drafts will be available: Abacus barleywine, Double Jack IPA, Walkers Reserve robust porter, and Parabola imperial stout.
Flights of beer will be available for anyone who wants to get all four of these tasties together.
Black Squirrel chef Gene Sohn will be serving up smoked hors’doeurves to go with these beers.
Want some swag? Well, no surprise there. Early arrivals will receive T-shirts and hats so you can start repping all around town the newest craft brewery to hit the DC market.
