It’s that time of the year again, Bell’s beloved summer wheat ale, Oberon, will soon be on taps and shelves everywhere. Two area bars, The Big Hunt in Dupont Circle and the Boulevard Woodgrill in Clarendon will be showing off the sun-decorated brew tonight.
The fun at the Big Hunt starts tonight at 5pm and includes merchandise giveaways and $5 pints of Oberon. While you’re there, be sure to see if Flying Dog’s Barrel-Aged Gonzo is still on and snag a little bit of that smooth tastiness. They also have Southern Tier Unearthly, both regular and oak-aged versions, for you IPA lovers out there.
Closer to the Commonwealth? Head on over to the Boulevard Woodgrill in Clarendon. The party starts at 4pm. Bell’s Oberon, Amber, and Batch 10,000 will all be on tap. There will also be a raffle for various Bell’s swag. Proceeds will to the Tsunami Relief Fund.
