Evolution Rise up Stout managed to be out Port City Porter and moves on the next round to face Oskar Blues Ten Fidy for one of the more intriguing matchups of Round 3. Flying Dog Raging Bitch and Victory Prima Pils both moved on which should be no surprise to anyone. Panelist favored Victory Prima Pils 8-1 over Tilted Smile for the biggest beat down from round two. Im going to go ahead and call it now that one of these beers will represent Hops in the Final Four and ultimately win the entire thing.

Round two results are interesting, but lack the upset factor we saw in round one. One of the biggest surprises is that Breckenridge Vanilla Porter continues to beat out other worthy, if not better, beers. I think many are baffled by his one but obviously the tasting panel was impressed. What about the fruit and spice category? Any surprise there ? Who moves on to the Elite 8 ?
