Alright, by now you are either furious or passive-aggressive about your beer in the Washington Post Beer Bracket. We think it’s a much improved format and selection from the previous year. Thank you, Greg Engert. Fingers crossed for something sour next year. Anyway, tell us what you think about the tournament so far.
Alright, by now you are either furious or passive-aggressive about your beer in the Washington Post Beer Madness 2011 Bracket. We think it’s a much improved format and selection from last year, although we do have our fingers crossed for something sour to be included next year. Anyway, tell us what you think about the tournament so far.
Here are some of my thoughts, I encourage you to leave yours in the comments!
– Bell’s Two Hearted out in round one? I’m fine with saying the WaPo panel is a tad bit WRONG here. As much as I like George Mason in 2006, I can’t agree with this upset.
Also, Dogfish Head Palo Santo losing to Breckenridge Vanilla Porter? That’s neat, and by “neat” I mean “patently ridiculous.”
It’s great to see Port City’s Porter advance to the next round. Their next match-up is the Rise Up Stout from Evolution, which is indeed a tasty beer. Hell of a match-up there.
What are you predictions after round one? What beer got snubbed and who is going all the way?
