SAVOR, the epic craft beer food and pairing extravaganza that is now in its fourth year, will be held on June 3 and 4 at the National Building Museum right here in Washington, D.C. The event, which has recently been preceded by a week filled with tastings, beer dinners, and meet-and-greets with brewers and industry professionals, showcases an enormous variety of craft beer and pairs that variety with some great food.
SAVOR has become wildly popular, and it can be a tough ticket to get, especially if you haven’t attended before or aren’t a member of the American Homebrewers Association or Brewers Association. If you do happen to fall into one or more of the categories I just mentioned, you’re in luck because you’ll probably be receiving an email with a link today where you can buy one of the limited number of pre-sale tickets.
Tickets to the general public will go on sale at 12:00pm EST on Thursday. Last year they sold out quicker than I can drink a Two Hearted, so get your twitchy trigger fingers ready to enter credit card info in a way they haven’t had to since you were 12 and trying to use your dad’s credit card to get tickets to *NSYNC. Just me? Oh…right. I have better hobbies now.
Tickets are $110 per night. A general admission gets you into either Friday OR Saturday night. If you want to attend one of the salons, that’ll cost you an extra $30 per salon. There’s a 4 ticket per person per night limit on SAVOR tickets, so be advised of that if you’re one of the Duggars and looking to take the whole family, you’ll probably need to find someone else to buy tickets with you.
Did you go to SAVOR last year? What did you think? Will you be going this year? Do you already have your pre-sale tickets? Let us know in the comments about how you’ll be wheeling and dealing on Craigslist in exchange for some of The Bruery’s tasty Loakal Red.
