What ? You haven’t made plans for Valentine’s Day yet ? Dont be that guy/gal and pull the “why don’t we just stay in and have a nice quiet evening together ?” line to cover up for your inadequate planning.  Check out what Flying Dog and ChurchKey have put together. This event is affordable for everyone, and it features some new releases from Flying Dog.

Flying Dog is bringing some wonderful small batch beers down to ChurchKey on February 14th for you and, if you so choose, your valentine to enjoy.

Flying Dog’s newest release in their Imperial IPA series is a Single Hop Imperial IPA with El Dorado hops (10% ABV, 70 IBU), which will be available on draft and cask Monday. This El Dorado cask is one of only eight released this year.

El Dorado is a new variety; only trademarked last month! They have “overwhelming” citrus aroma.

Also on draft will be:

  • Coffee Stout, with locally roasted coffee (9.2% ABV, 40 IBU)
  • Lucky SOB Irish Red (5% ABV, 20 IBU)
  • Horn Dog Barleywine, 2011 vintage (10.2% ABV, 45 IBU)
  • Double Dog Double Pale Ale (11.5% ABV, 85 IBU)
  • Gonzo Imperial Porter (9.2% ABV, 85 IBU)

Each beer will paired with a small-plate from the ChurchKey menu and will be available a la carte. Cheap and easy, just like your valentine (ahem, hopefully).
