Georgetown’s “Social” Safeway is well known for its “urban lifestyle” amenities like a sushi bar and gelato stand. It also advertises having one of the largest selections of beer in the District. The good folks there have invited the staff here at DCBeer and you, our phenomenal readers, to a free tasting on Tuesday, January 25.
The Georgetown Safeway is located at 1855 Wisconsin Ave NW. The tasting will run from 6:30-8:30pm, and we encourage you to be there! The revised and improved beer and cheese pairings are as follows. Definitely some tasty offerings here!
