Look out, Bourbon is ramping up their beer program again. New kegs are being tapped. Beer directors are being signed. And their new bar devoted to whiskey and good beer is also on the verge of opening.
Tonight, Bourbon is tapping the first ever keg of Conway’s Irish Ale from Great Lakes Brewery in DC. As part of the event, they’ll be giving away free glasses!
Conway’s Irish Ale is a winter seasonal out of Great Lake’s Brewery in Ohio. The beer is an Irish Red Ale and comes in at 6.5% ABV. The beer usually ships in January so this keg is a treat. Conway’s features some Northern Brewer, Hallertau and Fuggle hops alongside some Crystal 77 malt for its unique flavor, color, and aroma. Where do we get our homebrewer hands on 77L malt?!
Bourbon is on 18th Street in Adams Morgan. Event starts at 7PM. They were one of the first bars in Adams Morgan to stock good beer! Check their website out here.
