Beer Wars

You like watching movies. You like drinking beer. This is indisputable. You like doing these things at least as much as you love reading DCBeer.com. Your beer and movie horoscope for Thursday is looking pretty sweet if you’re in the DC area because the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse will be showing director Anat Baron’s “no holds barred exploration of the U.S. beer industry that ultimately reveals the truth behind the label of your favorite beer.” Check out the link for the event here. Only $9 for a ticket? Oh you’d better be there, especially if you haven’t seen this awesome documentary on craft beer. Not-so-conveniently-Metro-accessible (at least by rail) – Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse is at 2903 Columbia Pike. Oh, and by the way, as if the movie wasn’t enough for you (AND IT SHOULD BE), for an additional cost you can do a tasting of Dogfish Head, Flying Dog, Heavy Seas, Starr Hill, Sam Adams, and Stone beers. Cheers! And quiet down! We’re trying to watch the movie!
