Alt Together Now” Tapping Party at Churchkey3-7 PM
All three of Washington, DC’s brewpubs rendition of the same beer will be tapped. “Alt Together Now” is a special beer brewed for DC Beer Week. Capitol City Brewing Co., District Chophouse, and Gordon Biersch brewed the same base recipe in each respective brewhouse. This will be the only opportunity to try all three in one setting. Representatives from each brewery will be on hand. An added bonus- The District Chophouse produced casks of the beer in three formats- Cask, Oak-Aged Cask, and Fresh Hop Cask. The hops for the Fresh Hop were grown by Brewmaster Barrett Lauer.  All 6 Representations of the style will be available for sampling. Glassware Give-aways and lots of Beer Love!

FIRKIN SPECTACULAR AT RFD! – 7PM
Join RFD as they tap casks from your favorite local breweries for a night of real ale enjoyment! $40 (incl. tax and gratuity) gets you an all cask access pass to our backroom to sample whatever you like starting at 7pm! There are only  a limited number of passes, so reserve early!

Sunset Kayaking and Flying Dog Beer Tasting! 6pm-9pm
Sunset kayak cruise around the feral shores of Roosevelt Island. Once back on shore the group will head over to Georgetown’s own Old Glory where we’ll hand over the reins and let the folks from Flying Dog introduce you to a wide sampling of their award-winning ales. Between the scenic outdoors, refreshing brews, and the phenomenal finger food, this is an event unlike any other! Party on DC! Cost: $39 Included: kayak rental, Flying Dog beer tasting, finger food and BBQ from Old Glory, certified guides Bring: bathing suit, comfortable change of clothing, closed-toe shoes Departure: 6:00 pm, Jack’s Boathouse, 3500 K St. NW End: around 9:00 pm at Old Glory.
