It’s the Kentucky Derby and that reminds some more literary minded beer drinkers of Hunter S. Thompson and his awesome Gonzo journalism style. What better way to take advantage of that nostalgia than have a beer infused reading of Hunter’s “The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved,” article on its 40th anniversary at RFD while swilling FlyingDog brews with their Ralph Steadman labels blazing.
Beers being poured will include Raging Bitch Belgian Style IPA, Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale, Snake Dog IPA, Dog Schwarz, Gonzo Imperial Porter (12 oz bottle). Also #BitchSession attendees get 40% off all RFD Burgers.
Check out RFD this Thursday starting at 5 PM and drink Flying Dog beer for $4 a glass. After a few hours of drinking, the crowd will take over the back room for a boisterous reading of the article and anyone reading gets a FREE pint.
