Don’t ask how they did it, but Black Squirrel in Adams Morgan has gotten their paws on the only keg of Holy Moses from Great Lakes Brewing Company. This Belgian-style wit beer was previewed over at the Big Hunt on March 1st but most people only got a sip. Time get the full experience and help drain a keg of it.
So let’s repeat: One Keg in DC & the Black Squirrel has it!
Also on hand will be Great Lakes Brewery representative, Bernie– a long-time brewer who you can nerd out with. In addition to the limited release beer, if you sample flights of all of the Great Lakes beer you get entered in a raffle to win Great Lakes tin signs, pint glasses and t-shirts.
The Black Squirrel is at 2427 18th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009. The event is happening Tuesday, March 30th, 6:30 pm until 10:00 pm.
P.S. The Black Squirrel is also stocking Gluten-free beers (but not from Great Lakes). So if you are feeling left out of the beer scene because of Celiac or whatnot, go to The Black Squirrel and drink some fine craft beer that won’t kill you!
