Sure you are all going crazy over Hopslam, but sometimes after you’ve been experiencing the hot new thing, you have to slow down and remember the classics. Tonight at D’Vinos (where you probably still can buy Hopslam), you’ll be able to enjoy a classic.

D’Vinos will be pouring samples of Dogfish Head’s Chicory Stout from 6-9 PM. The beer is described as a dark stout made with roasted chicory, organic Mexican coffee, St. John’s Wort, and licorice root. It wouldn’t be a Dogfish Head brew if whole-leaf Cascade and Fuggles hops haven’t been thrown in for good measure. The grain bill features pale barley malt, roasted malt and oatmeal.

Check out D’Vinos at 2001 18th Street at the corner of U Street and 18th.
