Pics: The Reef’s Life and Limb Tasting

Reps from both Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada breweries were on hand for a tasting of the Life and Limb collaboration beer. Apparently only approximately 30 cases were available in stores around the DC  region.  And most are already gone.

There are also approximately 10 kegs on tap in the DC region including RFD, Brickskeller, Matchbox, Wonderland but again  most are gone as well.  It will be tapped at the  brunch this coming Sunday at Pizzeria Paradiso in Dupont.

The Reef’s Life and Limb keg was tapped around 5pm and it was kicked by 9pm.  It was only a 1/4 keg.  The beer was deceptively light in body.  It has a light sweetness, but not thick and sticky.
