Tonight at Connecticut Ave Wine and Liquor you can stop by and taste some good local brews. The recently relocated (sorta recent anyway) Flying Dog Brewery will be offering a selection of sips from their seasonal selection at the liquor store and specialty beer shop at the corner of Connecticut and Q.
Beers will include:
Snake Dog IPA – A 7.1% ABV India Pale Ale spiked with Columbus and Warrior hops that’s been dry hopped for even more hop flavor and aroma.
In Heat Wheat – A German-style hefeweizen coming in at 4.7% ABV with banana and clove flavors.
Dogtoberfest Marzen – A caramel brew made with all imported German ingredients. This is a seasonal only available during the Oktoberfest season. It won the 2008 GABF medal for German-style Marzen.
The event is 5-8PM tonight and there will be a Gonzofest ticket giveaway as well… Where is this secret stash of craft beer in Dupont called Connecticut Ave Wine and Liquor?
