So last week when I heard that Bart Vandaele of Belga was being knighted for his beer cuisine and promotion of Belgian beer, it seems that there was another guy on the list as well. Thor Cheston, a figure of the DC beer scene as well having worked at Birreria Paradiso and now at Brasserie Beck will also be knighted in Brussels. So by the end of September DC will have four knights in the Knighthood of the Brewers’ Mashstaff. Perhaps we could organize a joust to see which of these guys is tops…
