Going out tonight? Try one of the 193 beers that just arrived in Dupont Circle with Pizzeria Paradiso’s grand re-opening

Don’t miss our long form review of Pizzeria Paradiso here…

That’s right Pizzeria Paradiso is open in Dupont and it’s at the corner of 20th and P Street now which is sooo much closer than Georgetown for you Dupont/U Street/Admo beer drinkers. Or anyone who wants a metro accessible beer for that matter.

They’ve got 180 beers in bottles. 12 Taps and 1 cask. The cask, however, wont be live till Monday due to an incorrect fitting. They’ve got a nice long bar space and a bunch more tables than the previous incarnation. The real draw though is definately the expanded beer selection. Lots of good stuff to choose from.

I enjoyed the Bear Republic Nor Cal bitter on draft while I was there and it was pretty tasty. A nice mild bodied drinker with a little more hops that probably a traditional bitter would have. I also got a taste of the De Dolle Teve Tripel which is an excellent strong 10% ABV Belgian on draft. Click the image to the right to see a large picture of what’s on tap right now.

Look here for more information and pictures of the new place soon!
