The local Whole Foods seem to be places that require a weekly check-in to make sure we aren’t missing some awesome new arrivals. The other day we noticed that they were stocking 21st Amendment beers in DC and now another new arrival has popped up. At least your humble blogger hadn’t seen them there before… Bruery Beers.

From what I saw they definitely had Bruery Rue Saison, a farmhouse ale with malted rye. The brewery claims the beer can be two different beers as the flavor varies as the beer ages. They also had the Trade Winds Tripel, a summer seasonal that uses rice instead of sugar to lighten the body. The beer is then spiced with Thai basil!

The Bruery is a California brewery located close to LA. The seem to produce mainly 750ml bottles with a nice Belgian tilt. All their beers are bottle conditioned.
