We learned just yesterday, that Legends Limited has finalized plans with Pretty Things Beer of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and will bringing Pretty Things into the Washington, DC market very soon. Pretty Things is a gypsy type brewery, meaning they move from brewery to brewery to brew their beers. Their motto is “Good Time Artisanal Beers” and everything I have had from them supports that mantra.
As early as next week, we can start expecting limited offerings from Pretty Things. Initially expect to ONLY see bombers of Baby Tree and St. Botolphs.
Baby Tree is a big Belgian quadruple with plenty of raisin, fig, and Belgian esters.
St. Botolphs is English brown ale with malt and coffee and a balanced minimal hop presence.
By early July, we can expect to see their phenomenal Saison, Jack D’ Or, in bombers as well. Not word on if and when draft offerings will be available. But for now, enjoy the Baby Tree and St. Botolphs.
Given their lack of home based brew house and limited production capability, expanding into our marker is a huge vote of confidence, not only in Legends Limited, but in the D.C. beer market as well. Pretty Things will be a great contribution to our ever-growing craft beer culture here, and I expect to see their popularity continue to grow as it has over the past few years.

Enjoyed some Jack on a trip to Boston (and Maine) last year. Good stuff. Someone needs to go after the Maine brewery Sabago
I think you mean Sebego
I absolutely love Pretty Things. Their beers are one of the things that I miss most about my time in Cambridge, MA. I hope Dann and Martha can make it down to DC for an event sometime soon!
St. Botolph’s tastes like Newcastle, if Newcastle was handmade with care rather than by a heartless multinational corporation. Slightly more information about this here: http://hops.me/6dt
I know no one but myself cares but they’re actually out of Somerville. Their P.O. box is in Cambridge but I believe PT is straight outta Slummerville!
This Masshole is all about getting more Mass beers in here including High and Mighty and hopefully Cambridge Brewing Company in bottles in the next 2 years or so. Now if we could only get Mayflower to export their IPA I’d be a happy man.
Like half the folks in Somerville (and Medford, for that matter), PT claims Cambridge because it sounds cooler. And who could blame them? The first time I had Jack D’Or at Deep Ellum (Allston, baby!) I also had Mayflower IPA on cask. I could go for some of that right now.
