Society Member Meetup!
August 27 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Save the Date!
Pieces are falling into place for what is turning out to be a night you won’t want to miss at one of our favorite spots in DC.
Join us Tuesday, August 27th at 6 PM as we tap into this month’s Society exclusive releases including the elusive Chocolate Reign, plus two very special dishes created by Roofer’s Union’s very own Chef Jenn to be paired with two extremely rare beer/wine hybrids.
You do not have to be a Society Member to attend, this event is open to all. Come out and have a beer with Society members and The Bruery team members alike!
Full Draft List:
Chocolate Reign- The elevated version of Chocolate Rain— double barrel-aged imperial stout with cacao nibs and vanilla beans, 21% ABV.
Vermont Sticky Maple- We scoured the hills of the green mountain state to find the perfect maple syrup to complement this barrel-aged imperial stout. Sticky and decadent, with a subtly sweet and big bold mouthfeel, 11.3% ABV.
Mash & French Toast- This is our bourbon barrel-aged barleywine ale, Mash, joining forces with even stickier, malt-forward forces from our barrel warehouse to create the gooey-sweet profile you’d expect from a french toast-like creation. It rouses the senses with hints of caramel and rich maple character, summoning spices and warm vanilla notes, 13.7% ABV.
Island Time – Sweet stout brewed with Hawaiian sea salt and lactose; with marshmallow, toasted coconut, and natural vanilla flavor added. 8.6% ABV
So Happens It’s Tuesday: S’mores – Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with marshmallow, cacao, graham cracker and vanilla added. 15% ABV
Spontanaheim – 100% Spontaneously fermented sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels. 5.8% ABV
Wit the Funk – We make Wit The Funk with tradition in mind. Brewed with orange peel and coriander and fermented with wit yeast, brettanomyces, and our Terreux house mixed culture. Aged in oak foeders until final maturation, the result is a complex beer that’s tart, funky, oaky, citrusy, and super drinkable. 5.4% ABV
Offshoot’s Relax – Hazy IPA hopped with Citra, Centennial, Simcoe and Amarillo, 6.8% ABV
Offshoot’s Retreat – Hazy DIPA hopped heavily with Mosaic, Cashmere and El Dorado, 8.6% ABV
