Join us on Thursday, May 4 for a tasting of this year’s local Pink Boots beer, Pink Phaze and learn more about the Pink Boots Society. Pink Phaze is a Double IPA brewed at DC Brau with Pink Boots DC Chapter on International Women’s Day. Four breweries — DC Brau, Lake Anne Brew House, Lost Boy Ciders and Lost Generation — as well as a new brewery in the planning participated in the brew day.
The beers uses this years Pink Boots Hop Blend — purchased from Yakima Chief — and a gracious donation from Jasper Yeast, Brook + Whittle Labels, Pak-Tech and Prairie Malt.
Pink Boots Society exists to assist, inspire and encourage women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education. DC Brau will be donating proceeds from the beer to both the National and DC Chapter of Pink Boots.
This tasting is from 5-7:30pm and free. Just stop by Craft Beer Cellar DC at 301 H Street NE.
