Set your “Out of Office” this Labor Day weekend and join us for ice cold beer & cocktails, paired with chargrilled and freshly shucked oysters at OysterFest DC this Sunday at metrobar! We’ve partnered with the amazing vendors below to bring the smoke, the music, and the vibes all day long at this free event. A portion of sales will go to the Anacostia Watershed Society and their mission to save DC’s waterways. Here’s what to expect:
- Chargrilled oysters from Who Wants Smoke
- Freshly shucked oysters from DC Shuckers
- Live music from brass band Black Masala (2-5pm)
- Sundown set from DJ Mazlow (5-9pm)
- Cocktails and spiked snow cones from Chinola
- Beer specials from local brewery Liquid Intrusion
- Support for Anacostia Watershed Society, who will be onsite to discuss their mission of protecting and restoring the Anacostia River.
