It’s a Brett Party on Thursday, May 18. Who’s Brett and why are we throwing him a party? Brett is short for Brettanomyces, a type of wild yeast used to ferment beer and can impart a wide variety of flavors. Denizens Brewing Founder & Brewer Jeff Ramirez and Founder & Chief Brand Officer Julie Verratti will teach us more about Brettanomyces and sample us on 4 beers with Brett: Orval and Denizens Backyard Boogie, Bretty Party and The Glow.
