Gadsby’s Tavern Museum is hosting a dinner with history-inspired beers and food in a perfectly historic setting in Old Town Alexandria! The event is on May 27 at 7pm.

Start your evening in Gadsby’s Tavern Museum for the first course, and join Yards Brewery in conversation about their beer and approach to making these beers based off of historic recipes based on Jefferson, Franklin, and Washington.

After the first course, head down to the Restaurant’s main dining room to experience more beer with Yards and more great food.

The dinner is $85 per person. There’s a four course menu with a vegetarian option.

Here’s the menu:

First Course
skewer duo of grilled sausage & beef crostini
paired with Saison

Second Course
mixed seasonal green salade, topped with grilled salmon
paired with Jefferson’s Tavern Ale

Third Course
rosemary pork tenderloin with roasted vegetables on a bed of rice
paired with Poor Richard’s Tavern Spruce Ale

Fourth Course
porter chocolate truffles, created by ACKC Chocolates
paired with Washington’s Tavern Porter
