I know this is a good thing in the long run for DC and its craft beer scene - the more industry recognition and exposure, the better. But I think y&#039;all nailed it by saying that the CBC isn&#039;t intended for most of us in the general (non-industry) public. I&#039;ll be disappointed not to have a big public beer geek event here in DC next year. . . I hope the BA makes up for it by planning lots of brewery-specific events at our fine establishments around the CBC.

And if nothing else, won&#039;t it be nice to have a DC Beer Week-like event in a month *other* than the most godawful time on the calendar?</description>
