You may have hit up some of the earlier tapping of the much anticipated Life and Limb, but if not there are some other places that you can get it.
First off is the Life and Limb brunch at Pizzeria Paradiso in Dupont on Sunday. This, however, may already be sold out. If so, fear not…
Churchkey has tapped their keg of Life and Limb and they have another one secreted away for future tappings.
Another secret stash is at a restaurant called Scion. Although not really in the mix of beer themed restaurants we normally hear about, apparently they have it on draft. You can have this keg all to yourself if you go to 2100 P Street NW. They also have Fordham Helles, Starr Hill’s Northern Lights IPA and The Love Hefe, Hoegarden and Old Dominion Baltic Porter all on draft. Look for Dogfish Head and Unibroue in bottles as well. Not a bad list for a place I never knew had good beer. It’s actually on your way to The Brickskeller if you are walking from Pizzeria Paradiso. (Update: Scion will be tapping this keg in January. Thanks @Beerspotter.)

I worked a year at the Orange Brewery – a pub in pimlico central London. Their specialty: house beers. The ‘winter brew’ was it’s strongest and finest. Three dollars a pint.
Does anyone know of any beer stores carrying Life and Limb? My wife works at Norm’s in Vienna and unfortunately all of it was spoken for the first day it arrived.
As of a couple of days ago, Cairo in Dupont Circle carried Life and Limb bottles. They also carry quite a few bottles of Stone Vertical Epic 09.09.09. Not a bad place!
oh crapsies, Cairo is now out.
the wholefoods in fairlakes and vienna both sold out in a day, and only got 2 cases when they had orders for 6, from what i was told. I religiously called the Total Wine in fairfax for 2 weeks straight and either their staff sucks or they got it in the weekend I was out of time. I’ve given up on finding it.
