I had a Bratwurst slider on a pretzel bun with roast onions and dijion mustard and it went well with my Bear Republic Late Harvest IPA.
Pouring Bell's Oktoberfest (what's with that wine bottle?)
This event featured lots of cool beers but a bunch of them were over 7 tickets–meaning $7 beers or more. We thought the event seemed more beer geek oriented because of the price, and it would have been cooler if samples were handed out readily before people had to commit to the beers. I wasn’t sure everyone there was a total beer snob as it seemed like a neighbor type affair with all the couples and people with babies strapped to them! The Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock smoked beer probably could have been half the price in half the glass. No one needs to drink that much liquid bacon.

We were told that some of the kegs available were the last of the stocks that Rustico had. So when the Southern Tier Pumpking kicked, that was probably the end of that. It was possibly the last chance to drink some of these seasonals for some time. I’d believe that with the Bell’s Oktoberfest.
