Kramers is still serving Maibock the first week in October?!?

Points off.

I took the Brickskeller off my list of destinations when I noticed the persistent moldy funk wasn't going away. That air is bad for you.

Good call on Big Hunt. Reminds me I need to get down there again sometime.

Don't forget Grillfish at 1200 New Hampshire NW, which has a small tap selection, but some good options among them (usually at least Victory Prima Pils and Allagash White on draft). Great happy hour prices, too.

@ PAT,
Double Dead guy is decent ... if you brew at home I would highly suggest heading over to My LHBS and talk to Derek. He's got a great clone recipe which oddly appeared before Rogue started bottling this beaut. As for parking … if you come into the city around 5:30 on Fridays you should have very little issue finding some spots off of Rhode Island and 15th. There are enough little side streets in that ‘hood where you can usually find some spots. Parking enforcement usually ends at 6PM on Fridays as well, so you might luck out and find a whole slew of parking.

I'd add the Tabard Inn to that list. Although their draught selection is limited, their bottled beers include Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout and Nut Brown Ale, Bell's Two Hearted Ale, Wienehstephaner Hefe, Dekonnick, Chimay Blue, Dogfish Head 60 Minute, and Sierra Nevada. And, for my tastes, the food and atmosphere far surpass any of the others you mention. It's one of mine and my girlfriend's favorite spots in the city.

Great list!
I just noticed that Big Hunt is now Tweeting when they change out their taps. I hope this becomes a trend for DC's beer bars.

Awesome article! The map is very cool. One place you left out in Dupont is the 1 West Dupont liquor store. It is right across the street from Pizzeria Paradiso. Some stuff is a little pricey (as all good liquor stores are in the District), but they have the best selection in the area, a good number of individual bottles and the owners are very helpful.

I know there is a parking garage in Dupont. As someone who lives in the area I can attest that parking on a Friday is tough. Also it's very metro accessible with the Red Line right there and lots of bus routes.
