It feels like it’s been a long week already!

Tonight could be considered a local beer night with two cool events featuring nearby breweries. First off with have one as local as you can get. District Chop House is having a meet the brewer happy hour with brewmaster Barrett Lauer on hand to answer any of your questions about his beer. Chophouse’s brews will be half-price from 3-7 pm.

Up at Commonwealth Gastropub we’ve got Victory in town. Victory is from the Philadelphia area, which although not local is pretty close. The fact that they’ve got good beer and Commonwealth puts a few of them on cask makes this a party not to miss. They are offering $5 Victory bottles, $10 Victory flights and 1/2 Victory drafts. Dinner specials will also be on the menu with Victory pairings. A brewery rep will be at the bar with merch give-aways. 5-10PM

If you are looking for things with a more foreign flare:

Marvin’s “Hit For the Cycle” of Belgian and Belgian-Style beers. Taste “Single”, “Double”, “Triple” and “Quadrupel” beers paired with cuisine from Marvin’s Chef James Claudio. 5:30PM $35.

Mr. Belgium goes to Capitol Hill with Teddy Folkman serving mussels along side some Belgian beers at Capitol Lounge.

And if you just want weird Palace of Wonders will have Coney Island beers and a freakshow legend.
