DC Beer Week has officially kicked off and there are a ton of awesome events for you to choose from. Of course there is one event I’d prefer you’d attend and that Hop Times in the City, tonight at the Black Squirrel. Your’s truly will be co-hosting to tell you about the beers and add an air of sophistication to what might otherwise be viewed as an event all about drinking insanely hoppy and highly alcoholic beers.
We will be tasting Founder’s Centennial IPA, Speakeasy’s Double Daddy IPA, Bear Republic’s Hop Rod Rye, Avery Maharaja, Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, and Dogfish Head 120!

Prior to hitting up the Black Squirrel you can also check out Brasserie Beck’s Dogfish Head Happy Hour. Conveniently downtown and a couple hours before Hop Times in the City, you can get warmed up there with samples of Dogfish Head brews as well as leave with some choice glassware and other brewery merch.
