I know I said I didn’t really want to write about this stuff, but there is just so much going on with BeerGate that I can’t keep away. Tonight while Obama is having his beer date, CNN Canada will be interviewing guests at The Brickskeller about their take on the whole thing.
The Brick is offering the chance to try Bud Light and the other beers Obama’s guests will be drinking. They will also be offering Blue Moon Honeymoon for $5 a shaker while supplies last. Exciting stuff for sure but check out what else he has on tap…
Beyond all that silliness, Dave Alexander has a few other cool offerings that he mentioned in his email to the beer community. Taps of Unibroue Ephemere, Lindeman Framboise, Hoegaarden Witbier, Dogfish Head Black and Blue and their Festina Peche will be available. He’s also got Southern Tier Creme Brulee, Flying Dog’s Double Dog Double IPA, Weyerbacher Beire de Garde Foxtrot, Oskar Blues Old Chub, and Stoudt’s Fat Dog Stout.
Sure it’s a silly reason to go to a bar and try to get on TV, but his taps list seems like a good enough excuse too.
