Apparently, 180 Washington, DC area restaurants are offering three course meals at fixed prices all throughout the week of August 24. The catch is that these places are gonna book up fast and only a few of them have good beer to drink.
Luckily, DC Beer has put together a DC Beer Guide to Restaurant Week with a few place with good beer to choose from so that you can make those reservations asap. Remember lunch goes for $20.09 and dinner goes for $35.09. Beer is not included in the price. I believe all restaurant week reservations need to be made through OpenTable.
Let’s start with a no brainer…
District Chop House – A three course dinner at the Chop House for $35? Where do I sign up? Beyond the steaks, cornbread and onion rings, they brew some of the best beer in town. Their bourbon barrel aged stout is one of my favorites for sure–I believe they use Woodford Reserve barrels. They currently have a Saison on tap to try, hopefully it wont run out before restaurant week starts. 509 7th Street, NW, (202) 347-3434
