Sure it’s not technically a happy hour. (Actually I am pretty sure the Saloon never discounts drinks.) But, this is the perfect excuse to get your red meat for the week for cheap while passing the savings along to an otherwise expensive Bavarian-style draft beer.
The Saloon offers a New York Sirloin steak with a baked potato and a side salad for $9.95 on Tuesdays. With fries it is $10.95. Normally the steak goes for $13.95 so its like getting $3 off the 9.8% ABV Urbock 23 that you will be getting to accompany it.
If you don’t want to spring for the Urbock there are plenty of other Bavarian delights to choose from including a big glass of Hofbrau, some Spaten Lager, Maibock or even their Dunkel or one of my faves the Eggenberg Hopfen Konig Pils. There are also a couple Weis beers including a delicious Dunkleweise.
If you’ve never been to The Saloon, tonight is a perfect night to check out the quirky place before they go on vacation.
