Each week we are going to feature another happy hour in Washington, DC and we decided why not start with a monster happy hour like Birreria Paradiso. Sure it’s in Georgetown, but they have an insane tap list!
During happy hour, this tap list is HALF PRICE.
Current drafts include: St Bernardus Witbier, Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout, Avery Karma Ale, Troegs Sunshine Pils, Dogfish Head Sah’tea, Red Sky at Night Saison, Bells Two Hearted, Weyerbacher Foxtrot, Rogue Captain Sigs Deadliest Ale and Echte Kriek. This is why BP’s happy hour is a monster, all these beers are awesome.
They also have cask stuff but I’m not sure if they group that in with the half price draft. On cask they have Three Floyds Alpha King Pale Ale. Btw, you can’t actually get Three Floyds in DC so getting this on cask is like drinking the impossible. Probably worth full price.
Birreria Paradiso hosts their happy hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-7pm. The basement is small so get there as fast as you can so you can secure a table or one of the 10 bar seats with a good view of the 16 taps. They also have a few pizza specials for those of you into eating food. Click here for their webpage with the most up-to-date tap list…

Alpha King on cask sounds ridiculous.
I hope that Birreria Paradiso has the same Happy Hour when they open their new Dupont Circle location. I saw a sign outside the 2029 P Street location that said they would open sometime in August.
Amazing news about P St. PP. Man, wish they had a Birreria while I was living down there.
