Local homebrewers, Maryland Ale and Lager Technicians (M.A.L.T.) are hosting a pub crawl around downtown DC on Saturday July 18. Looking at the impressive list of places they are going to visit, I’d offer a word of caution-have some cab money for the trip home because no one will be driving after this eleven hour craft beer march.
Scheduled to run from 10 AM until 9 PM, the group plans to visit Gordon Biersch, RFD, Birreria Paradiso, The Big Hunt, and Brickskeller.
The event is free to members and non-members alike and will be a pay your own way, drink what you will style of pub crawl. Be forwarned that this is not one of those go to each bar and drink Bud Lite all day pubcrawls, we are talking serious beer with serious craft beer people.
The main crew is leaving from the Greenbelt metro at 10 AM and planning on being at Gordon Biersch at 11AM. (You might be able to just meet them there?) For more info check out their post on Beer Advocate…
